iPod Click Wheel Problem

iPod 5th Generation with Video - Click Wheel ProblemI remember when I first opened my iPod after receiving it as a Christmas gift. I was so excited up to the point when I opened the box and took my shiny black and silver iPod out of it's packaging. But something just didn't seem right. While everything was beautiful, the click wheel wasn't perfect. Call me picky, but considering how much the darnn thing costs, it should be perfect shouldn't it? The right side of the click wheel seemed to be sticking down, uneven, and not producing a 'click' feel or sensation. When you press 'up', ' down', or 'left', you could feel the clicking, but when you press 'right', it just just didn't feel crisp and 'clickedy'. I mean the iPod responded when you pressed 'right', but it didn't 'click'.

  3. iTunes doesn't sell  TV shows outside of the US

Completing these steps and resetting your iPod will solve most iPod related problems - at least it does for me! Sometimes, my iPod will freeze and lock up. It's rare, but when it happens, I just hard reset it. The great thing is that you don't need to be hooked up to the computer and can do it anywhere and undocked. Don't worry... Resetting, restarting, or rebooting your iPod will not erase your files and songs.

Step 1: Make sure your iPod is charged. Make sure your iPod is fully charged and then toggle the Hold Switch on and off.

Step 2: Identify your model and reset it using the following methods:
